Woolfest last Saturday. Here are some photos.
Emma and Emmie's stand. Lovely and clean. She has some super stock. If you've not visited her blog, it's worth a gander.
Lots of colour:
Swallows having a rest from flying above us.
Wool piled high.
Many people having a good time.
This week my garden has started to show some colour.
Radishes for tea.
New crochet project started.
Helping little sister take her first steps in blog land. I got Jessie's sewing stuff, my sister got the recipe book and kitchenalia. Here is her blog.
Impromptu supper in the garden.
Even the cows wanted to be in on the act!
Sorry such a long post, will blog again soon, but have to watch the Wimbledon men's final first. Strawberries, cream and Pimms.

Thank you. Woolfest is like being at the most marvellous place with all the things you covet there for you to see, touch and if funds allow, to buy.
DeleteThere is an animal smell, which somehow adds to the excitement of it all.

Woolfest looked brilliant. Lovely to see the Willy sheep that make it possible there! Crochet is looking good :) x
ReplyDeleteYes the sheep are fun. I stopped to talk to most of them, but they just ignored me - how rude. Ha ha.
DeleteDon't usually make things to wear, will see how the crochet goes.

Lovely pics - and Emma's stand looks great, as well as all the others! What a nice time that would have been!
ReplyDeleteYour new crochet looks very interesting - such a lovely shade of blue too.

Hi. It was good fun. Might be doing it again in September, there is something called yarn dale over in Skipton. I can get there by train, will have to set off early in the morning. Is there anything like it in Australia?
DeleteThe blue cotton is a kind of teal colour.

Looks like you've had a fun week! Chrissie x
ReplyDeleteFun but tiring. Here's hoping for a quieter week.

Thanks for the shout out, I can't help but think you may have created a monster!!!!
ReplyDeleteSome monsters are kind and friendly - not scary at all.

Woolfest looks wonderful as does your dinner in the garden. I can't wait to see what you're crocheting now. :)
ReplyDeleteThe dinner was as tasty as it looked. When it's prepared by someone else it always tastes good. Crochet coming on fast, should have it finished soon.
