Strawberries & cream and Pimms with a sprig of mint.
Well spotted, of course my strawberries had to be crocheted. The cream is kitchen towel. But the Pimms is real.
I had real ones as well with black pepper instead of cream.
Have finished the back, front and almost one sleeve of my new crochet project. No picture yet.

Oh S, it's early morning here and yours is the first blog I've checked today - and I am absolutely thrilled to hear that Andy won his game!
ReplyDeleteYour strawberries look so good - both lots! I wouldn't have believed the 'cream' to be kitchen towelling - and - I've never had strawberries with black pepper so must try!
Have a happy week!

Have you tried strawberries with lack pepper yet?

I love the strawberries! They are just adorable. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteI cannot claim the praise for the strawberries, I got the pattern out of a book. The pattern had seed beads embroidered on them to make them look real. But I'll be giving these to my 3 yr old granddaughter, so better safe than sorry.

Aw the strawberries are so cute! Mmmm Pimms not had one yet this year x
ReplyDeleteYou don't need Wimbledon to drink Pimms. It's all year round. They even do a winter warming blend. And no, I don't work for them.

Love the crochet strawberries! I just loved Wimbledon this year, it was fab. I have never tried Pimms but think I may be tempted...

You must try Pimms. I make mine with lemonade and add strawberries and mint, or borage which I grow in my garden. You can also add cucumber and apple. Just think that it helps you achieve your five a day, guilt free. Seriously it's half the strength of other spirits and you only need a little amount. Let me know if you try it.
