The wait is over

Back in May I blogged about an embroidery project which I was doing for my local Embroiders' Guild. It was a seahorse. Well it's now a bag.



I really enjoyed making it. I met the others and we spent a lovely day sewing and chatting. Everyone's bag was different.

It's nearly Friday, I've joined Sue's Crafty Friday make. Which of these magazine freebies should I make? I've got a few keyrings, a brooch and a purse. Hmmmmmm, will see how crafty I feel when I get home from work tomorrow.

    Your embroidery is beautiful - and on such a lovely bag; well done!

      The bird key ring is my favourite at the moment, but then again I could do with a new purse, hummmmm.

    Your embroidery is beautiful! Is that a big cluster of colourful French knots at the bottom? You are amazing! And nice to make it into a bag to take out and about...put the freebie makes in a bag, close your eyes and pull one out....Chrissie x

      Great idea. I was thinking of taking them into work tomorrow, but my colleagues may think I'm going mad. The bag idea wins.

      Yes they are French knots, using variegated coloured floss.

    I love seahorses so pretty your bag is lovely. I like the Russian doll best but there all lovely tough decision :) x

      Thank you. I like the Russian doll too. Oh, life is full of difficult decisions. One thing I know, I've got something to look forward to for the next four weeks.

    Great bag! And how many of us have these little kits - good idea to set aside some time on a Friday to make them. Think I might follow you on that one!
