But some pics I took at home during the day are here.
Garlic harvest drying in the sun.
Red geranium adding colour to the garden.
Collection of shells and stones from my trip to Scotland in May, adding a little something (I know not what!!), to a corner of the patio.
Getting crafty in the late afternoon/evening. I cannot believe I made all these in a few hours. Waited for today to take pics as it was dark when I finished.
These are from Simply Crochet magazine, borrowed from a friend.
The fish are from Mollie Makes, see also Sue from Sweetpea family. More instructive than my own blog.
Felt good to be making something, being able to sit in the garden making was a bonus.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

I love the pretty lacy crochet star and circle, so nice.

Thank you. They were quite easy to do. I think I may try the pattern in thinner yarn and a smaller hook. I think they would look good on the right cushion.

Love your creations thank you so much for joining my link up - it's very exciting

No probs. I too seem to collect all these free gifts and then do nothing with them.

I'm loving the crochet colours - I'm going to make that apple for my mother, who has apple decorations in her kitchen. Was it easy? Chrissie x
ReplyDeleteHi Chrissie, the apple was very easy. I used a 3ply yarn. I think making some red and green ones would make a lovely addition to a kitchen blind.

Lovely photos. Your projects are really nice. Red geraniums are one of my very favorite flowers.
ReplyDeleteI love red geraniums. They say "summer" to me. It was hard work getting them, the B&Q type places seem to think we want fancy colours, but I say "red is best".

Lovely work S - and nice little (Scottish) shell collection!
ReplyDeleteI also have difficulty coming to terms with the difference between what the poor farmer is paid and the price of wool in the shops! As in so many other products also! There must be more than one 'middle man' these days!!!
Wishing you a wonderful week!

Thank you Joy, too many on the take these days. I sometimes wish life were simpler.
DeleteYou have a good week too, looking forward to seeing your next crafty make.
