One parrot has a new home. (See a previous post)
The other has been left behind.
He looks really lonely sitting on his branch looking out of the window. I feel so sorry for him - would anyone like to adopt him?
If you adopted him what would you call him? Let me know via a comment by the end of May 2013, then I will put all the names in a hat and one lucky parrot will have a nice new owner.

Hi Jessie! I really like him! My mother has a parrot, a blue-and-gold Macaw named Murphy. Your parrot kind of reminds me of him. I live in the US so you don't need to put my name in the hat to receive him if you would prefer not to, but I just wanted to say that I really like him and you've done a great job with all of these parrots. I'm following you now too and looking forward to reading more. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer. Thank you for becoming my newest follower. Your name will go in the hat. My sister visits the US, a couple of times a year so if you get to adopt him, she will escort him on the plane and make sure he gets to you. Murphy, that's a good name.

Oh, thank you! That would be really nice. :)
DeleteA lovely fellow! Would he get on with four cats though? As for a name? Cyril? Don't know why.
ReplyDeleteEmmie and Emma makes pointed me in your direction - a lovely blog, I'll be looking in again. x
Hi Beacee, thank you for your comment. Cyril, why not! It's a grand name. And a big thank you for liking my blog. I see you've started a blog yourself, good luck with it. I'm enjoying blogging, it's opened up a whole new creative world for me.
DeleteWell why not 'Hooker' - after all he has a big beak and his Mum loves to crochet! Poor lonely fellow, I hope he is re-homed soon where he'll have lots of nice company - I would hate to think he might become a juvenile delinquent cause he's been on his own for so long as a young fellow!!! ReplyDeleteHi Joy, thank you for becoming my newest follower. I don't see no reason why he couldn't fly to Australia. I understand that you can get some cheep cheep flights nowadays.
