Hi
Just a short post to let you know what I have been working on.
Meet my new friends.
Pattern is in the December issue of Simply Crochet.
Have to fly, reading a good book which I can't seem to put down. The Ice Princess by Camila Lackberg.
I filled the bottom halves with lentils so that they would behave and stand up.
Hope you have had a good week.

I like them and think the lentils are a good idea - I've made similar before and they do seem to have a wee bit of trouble balancing so thank you for the hint! Hugs, Joy x
ReplyDeleteThank you Joy. Just a word of caution, like a gremlin, don't let them get wet, soggy lentils = thick soup.

I love those little darlings! I spotted them in the magazine, too, and added them to my WIP list. Nice to see someone who has made them! Chrissie x
ReplyDeleteHi Chrissie, they were quite a quick make, go for it.

Your little amigurumi are absolutely gorgeous. I saw them in that magazine and yours look so sweet. Like the lentil tip as I couldn't work out how they might stand up. Point taken about the no wet rule too!
ReplyDeleteI read some Camilla Lackberg books last year too including the Ice Princess and loved it too.
Great seeing your other posts too with your new pieces for your class and look forward to seeing what else you've been up to.
Hi Lucy, thank your comment. They were a delight to make. Managed to get to the final chapter of the book last night.

Aw so cute! hehe made me smile instantly x
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know I can make others smile. My favourite is the ninja. I can see him/her moving around the house, lurking about, ready to pounce. Hehe!
