Nice one Cyril

Meet Cyril.



You may remember him from a previous post. But he looks happier now and is looking forward to meeting his new family. He's even packed a little bag in preparation of his journey.  

Congratulations on your adoption Beacee. After a poll amongst my neighbours the most popular name was Cryil. But Murphy and Hooker both got votes too.  

If Beacee can contact me at jessiesneedle@gmail.com I will make arrangements to complete the adoption.  Jennifer and Joy - thank you for suggesting the other names.

    Congratulations to Beacee - I'm sure you'll give Cyril a good home, and I do hope he doesn't get over-tired on his journey to your place. Joy x

    Joy, sorry you don't get to adopt him. I'm sure he would have felt at home with all your sunshine. But I'm trying to try to write down a parrot pattern. Would you be a tester for it before I publish it to the world?

      Hi joy, hopefully you will have received an email from me. I'm still a little unsure how this blogging thing works but when I get a comment I get an email in my gmail, this is the one I've replied to.

    Cyril arrived this morning!
    Thank you, Sandra, he's gorgeous - and he's found a friend already! When my husband moved into this house twenty odd years ago he inherited a rather unusual pink light fitting that looked like jungle creeper, so i bought him a wooden parrot to hang from it. It's hung there ever since, totally ignored by the cats most of the time.
    Cyril spotted him right away and has decided to share his perch. I'll send a photo when I can work out how to get it from my phone to the computer.

      I'm so glad he was ok on his journey. Not a very dignified mode of travel, but practical. And he has a ready made friend waiting for him. I'm so pleased.
