Fabulous upcycling! I'm always impressed when I see people make something (or things!) out of what us non-crafters would probably think of as rubbish :-)
I'm going to get to some hooky squares soon I hope. Yours are looking great, they're so bright and cheery :-)
Hi Nichole, thank you. I'm always on the lookout for a bargain. Thinking of running adult ed night classes on upcycling sewing for the home in September so having to think of projects to do. Yes my colours are bright, I like to surround myself with colour. S xx
Hi Jo, I was impressed by how easy it was. I don't think it will last as long as a proper one, but I could add another one periodically to make it nice and soft. And it only cost pence. S xx
Loved the fabric for the ironing board cover.
ReplyDeleteHi, yes I was pleased when I found it. As it was only one curtain it only cost £1. Love charity shops.

It sounds like an ideal day, sewing garden & crochet! Hope the rest of your week is just as good.
ReplyDeleteThank you, hope you had a good week too.

I am so slow, why didn't I think of making my own ironing board cover. Thanks for the inspiration. Jo x
