What am I made from?

Fabric scraps wound round washing line then machined into bowls with zig zag stitches. Makes a sturdy bowl. Thank you Janet from The Threshing Barn for the workshop. www.threshingbarn.com

    1. You're very kind, but don't look too close. I have some extra washing line so will try another one. The secret was using a denim needle in my machine - it was like stitching into butter.

    1. Thank you. I'm kind if proud of my first efforts. Just wondering if I can make some for Xmas gifts? I could fill with smellies or sweets. OMG, why am I thinking of Xmas? Summer isn't even here yet.

  3. Beautiful! What a great idea, I've not seen it done with washing line before.

    1. The washing line makes it such a cheap idea too. And useful for getting rid of scraps. The fabric was in half inch strips.
