Too much work and not enough play over the past few months, however I've made a dress for my granddaughter. 
Using New Look 6043, 
Made from cerise cotton needle corduroy, and Broiderier Anglaise ruffle. I also found this pink and blue ric rac which matched perfectly.
An easy make and I have cut out the pieces in light denim to make another.
On the crochet front I have been given a copy of Needlecraft Practical Journal from the early 1900's 
and have decided to give one of the patterns in fillet crochet a go.
Instructions were a bit complicated to start with, but I'm about half way through.
